Can you have multiple company files open at the same time with Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus 2023?

And can you have three company files under one subscription?

You need to use QB Desktop Accountant or Enterprise to open 2 company files at the same time on the same screen. If you are using QB Desktop Pro/Premier, you will need a paid workaround to open more than one company file on the same screen..

    Let me chime in on this conversation and clarify things with regard to managing company files in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

     

    First off, yes, I agree with @Fiat Lux - ASIA that the ability to open two company files at the same time is only applicable when you're using QuickBooks Accountant or Desktop Enterprise. 

     

    Pertaining to your second question, yes, we can have three company files under one subscription. However, opening these at the same time is unavailable.
