QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop 2021 decimals and currency change problem

Since I am in Oman and using QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop 2021. I am aware that there isn't an option for 3 decimals right now and only 2 decimals are available, the problem is when I change the currency to OMR (Omani rial) even those 2 decimal will disappear from the totals and it show (OMR 4) instead of (OMR 4.50) and when I print invoice having USD as my currency $ sign will also print. I don't want this $ sign to be printed at all not on invoice not anywhere even not OMR which is the currency symbol for Oman.
I am stuck either I should stay on USD currency to have at least those 2 decimals and also have $ sign to be printed on invoices and reports or I should change the currency to Omani Rial and have rounded numbers and loose even those 2 decimals.

I want to have this $ sign to be removed from my prints either it is invoice or any other report
or When i change my currency to Omani Rial at least those 2 decimals should show up.

Hello there, @Hammad Asif. I'll share some understanding concerning decimals and currency in QuickBooks desktop enterprise.

I'd suggest contacting our Customer Care Team, they can guide you on how to resolve this issue within the currency set up. They also have tools like screen sharing so they'll be able to guide you through the process.

Here's how you can reach them:

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the Help menu at the top.
  3. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  4. Type Contact Us in the search box. Then, click on Contact Us at the bottom.
  5. Select the way you wish to connect with support.

I added this link for more details about contacting QuickBooks Desktop support

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist you; you can always reply with any further concerns you may have.

Hello there, Mohamed.

Please note that the option to set or change the number of decimal places to three is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop; only two decimal places are supported with the existing features.
