Quickbooks Enterprise Mileage Tracking

The new mileage tracking is horrible. I cannot adjust mileage after entry, I cannot delete erroneously entered entries, and I cannot sort the list to see the most recent on top so I don't have to search through the list to find entries. This is unacceptable. Is there any other way to track mileage, or do I have to resort to an excel spreadsheet? Quick books 2017 was way better at this.

To investigate the issue, I recommend opening a QuickBooks sample company file. From there, set up mileage tracking and adjust, delete, or sort your entries. If the mileage tracking feature works fine, then your current company file has a data issue. To resolve this, we can run the Verify and Rebuild Utility tools, which will help us isolate and fix any data issues in your file.

 

To run the Verify Data utility:  

 

  1. Go to the File menu, then select Utilities. 
  2. Click Verify Data. 
  3. If there are issues found, you’ll be prompted to Rebuild Now. 

 

Here’s how to run the Rebuild utility:  

 

  1. Go to the File menu, then select Utilities. 
  2. Choose Rebuild Data. 
  3. Click Ok on Rebuild has completed.
