QuickBooks for Students

Is it possible to get QuickBooks for Students? I used the Intuit Education but I only saw QuickBooks for Educators, is that the only one available?

Yes, students and teachers can get QuickBooks Online and Desktop for free, @BrianneA08. I will guide you through the entire process. This allows you to explore it and become familiar with its features.

 

High school teachers must register as educators for the product. Then welcome emails with forms are sent after registration. After that, have your teachers email the completed form to educationregistration@intuit.com with the names of each student who wants to use QuickBooks.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Intuit Education Program website.
  2. Select the Sign Up for free tab in the Empower your students with QuickBooks section. 
  3. Fill up the form, then click Verify and continue.

 

If your instructors can’t find their school on the list during registration, the school may be new to our program and not on-boarded yet. Let them send a school-named email to education@intuit.com. This way, the education team will add eligible schools to the list. 

 

Once completed, your teachers will send you a link where you can register and activate your account. See the following articles for more information:

Hi Michelle,

I'm a college student and would like to learn how to use QuickBooks. I saw on the discussion post I read that both educators and students can register for a trial, refer to the picture below. However when I clicked the Intuit education website, I only see QuickBooks for educators. I don't see what's on the picture. I don't know if it's because I'm in the United States. I'm currently unemployed and I don't know any other way to get QuickBooks so, if there's a way to get it please let me know. Thank you!
