QuickBooks Live Bookeeping Cleanup Fee

As a small business owner, I sought assistance from Quickbooks to reconcile my books. However, I was surprised to receive an invoice totaling $1500, when the fee for cleanup was only supposed to be $500. Unfortunately, the invoice did not provide a breakdown of the additional charges. I attempted to dispute the charges with customer service, but they were unable to provide guidance. I also reached out to my live bookkeeper, but have not received a response yet. Do you have any suggestions on how I can resolve this issue?

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Hit the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter "callback" in the "What can we help you with?" section.
  4. Select "Let's Talk"
  5. Pick the "Get a call" option to connect with us.

Thank you for your reply. I called the 800 number, but the representative was unsure how to handle my call and suggested I speak with my QuickBooks Live Accountant. I am not for sure if a chat would be any different.

I am interested to know Quickbooks Live Bookkeeping methodology of calculating the cleanup fees for S Corps, LLC, Corporations, Trust, etc..
