Why am I getting pop-up about migrating files? To what?

Which QB Desktop year version do you have?

Don't have the pop-up. DOn't remember the version. Probably Desktop Accountant Edition 2021.,

On the other hand, you can proceed to these steps to review your Quickbooks Desktop (QBDT) version:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Press the F2 key.
  3. In the Product Information window, look for your product name, product number, and license number.
  4. Look for your release at the end of the product name.
  5. Locate your QBDT version in the Version Used on File section. The oldest version can be found at the top and the most recent are at the bottom.
