Quickbooks Online Certification

Hello QuickBooks Community,

 

This is my first time posting here so please bear with me if I made any mistakes.

 

I took and passed my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification and Advanced Certification in the Company I am working right now. I want to establish my own Company and created a new QuickBooks account. 

 

Here is the question, do I need to take the Exam to get certified again or is there a way to use my certification in my Company. I am working as a part timer.

    I'll be sharing some information about transferring your QuickBooks Online certification to a new account, Virtual Accountant_1.

     

    Once you transfer your badge, you can no longer have it on your old account. In case you need reference on how to transfer your QuickBooks ProAdvisor badge to your new account, follow the steps below:

     

    All you need to do is make sure that you have access to the ProAdvisor Training tab using your new account, then contact us to submit a transfer request.

    To make sure you have access to the ProAdvisor Training tab (using your new account),

    1. From the left drop-down menu, go to ProAdvisor tab.
    2. Switch to Training tab.

    You don't need to take an exam to get certified again. Instead, you can transfer your QuickBooks ProAdvisor badge. 

     

    Simply ensure that your new account gives you access to the ProAdvisor Training tab. Then, you'll need to contact us to request the transfer of your certification once you've set up your new QuickBooks Online for Accountant account.

     

    To contact us, please utilize the Help icon within your QBO account and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

    The thing is, I am still employed in the Company and working as a Part Timer. I still need my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Badge in the company that I am working.

     

    So if I transfer my ProAdvisor Badge to my new QuickBooks, do I still have my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Badge in my old QuickBooks?

    If you have already taken the exam, you don't have to retake an exam to get the certification. You can instead transmit your QuickBooks ProAdvisor badge.

     

    Make sure your new account allows you to access the ProAdvisor Training tab. Once you've set up your new QuickBooks Online for Accountant account, you'll need to contact us to request the transfer of your certification.

     

    Please use the Help icon within your QBO account to contact us, and then follow the on-screen guidelines to fulfill the requirements.

     

    If you are ready to take advantage of this Payroll Certification, here's how: 

     

    1. If you don't already have a QuickBooks Online Accountant account, create one.
    2. Obtain QuickBooks Online certification.
    3. Click here if you are ready to take the Payroll Certification exam. Please note that this link is only available to QuickBooks Online certified ProAdvisor.

    Hello ChristineJoieR,

    I took the QBO Payroll exam and passed five out of six sections.

    When I logged in yesterday to complete the final section, it was no longer available.

    It appears that I will have to start over. I thought I had a year to complete it.

    Can anyone verify this? Knowing how much time I had to complete the certification would have been helpful.

    When I asked about the time frame earlier this year, I was told I had a year to complete it.

    If I had known it would expire in November, I may have been able to complete the last section.

    I contacted the ProAdvisor help desk, but they weren't able to help me.

    Also, I completed the feedback form and received a response directing me to QBO help.

    I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
