How can I check email status on QB Online?

Can I have my email send invoices?

If you're referring to the invoices sent via email, we can keep track of their activities in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

To do that:

 

  1. Go to Sales and select Invoices.
  2. Click for the invoice you want to check.
  3. We can see the invoice status under the Invoice activity if it's OpenedSentViewedPaid, or Deposited.

 

Furthermore, we're only allowed to use your Gmail address to send invoices and locate them in your Gmail Sent folder. This way, you can manage all your emails with clients in one place.

 

Please follow these steps:

 

  1. Create an invoice or open an existing one.
  2. Fill out the necessary information and select Save and send to open the preview window.
  3. Click the From dropdown and select Add Gmail address.
  4. Click Connect Google account and sign in.
  5. Select Allow and your Gmail address will now appear in the From section.

Moreover, you can include links to invoices in QuickBooks Payments so clients can make online payments. They can use PayPal, Venmo, a credit card, or an ACH bank transfer to pay.
