You can install the trial version of QB Desktop 2024 on your machine, restore the company file and convert it to QB Online.

@mcs0204

You can use the trial version of QB Desktop 2015, 2019 and 2021 to upgrade your data gradually and convert it to QB Online. Contact me in private and we can share the trial codes.

I agree with 4Gal and Fiat Lux - ASIA, mcs0204. I'm here to help you resolve this issue.

To migrate from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online, you'll need to have the latest QuickBooks Desktop version. Thus, you'll have to move gradually from 2014 to 2017, and then 2020. Then, to 2023 or 2024. However, you can also use an online tool to migrate your file.

From there, you can start moving to QuickBooks Online. Here's how:

  1. From the Company menu, select Export Your Company File to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Click Get started.
  3. Sign in as an admin to your QuickBooks Online company.
  4. Select Choose online company, and then select the company you want to replace with your file. Then, click Continue.
  5. If you track inventory in QuickBooks Desktop, select Yes. Else, choose No if you want to set up later.
  6. Click Agree, then Replace.
  7. Select Yes, go ahead and replace the data, and then Replace.

I've added this link that has detailed steps of the process: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, you can check this article on how features move to QuickBooks Online: Learn how features and data move from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.

Keep me posted if there's anything that I can help with moving your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.
