Quickbooks online progress invoicing without changing quantity

I need to send progress invoices but I can not send it with incorrect quantities. Its very confusing for both the customer and me to see qty 2.456777 instead of the quantity on the order.

 

I have looked for solutions and there are still none after 5 years of QBO and people making this complaint. 

 

What are my options to send partial invoices without changing the quantity on the order.

I know the importance of sending clear information to customers regarding the products and services. Allow me to chime in and help you with your concern about the progress invoicing feature in QuickBooks Online.

 

Since QuickBooks is showing the progress invoice due in percentage, a direct way to change the QTY amount is unavailable. I understand how beneficial it is for the figures to show not in the decimal form.

 

The only workaround is downloading the transaction as PDF (see screenshot below).  Once downloaded, you can search for a PDF Editor online so you can correct the QTY amount manually before sending it to your customers.

We also make changes and adjustments based on user feedback. Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Feedback under Profile.
  3. Share your feedback.
  4. Hit Next to submit.
