Using the projects in QuickBooks Online to track your project’s profitability requires you to upgrade to QuickBooks Online Plus, Advanced, or Accountant.
To do this, follow the steps below:
- Log in to QuickBooks Online as a primary or company admin.
- Go to the Settings menu, then to the Account and settings tab.
- Select the Billing & subscription tab and ensure your payment info is updated.
- In the QuickBooks Online section, select Upgrade your plan.
- Review the available plans and then select Choose plan, then follow the on-screen steps to upgrade your plan.
Once upgraded, you can set up and create projects in QuickBooks Online. It has a complete steps in adding existing expenses or timesheets to a project.
