When I try to create a customer statement dated to any future date, I get an error that says "environmentData not defined", and a big red box. Is this a known bug? If so when will it be fixed?

Hey there, theotillotson.

Thanks for posting your question here in the Community. I want to make sure you're able to create a customer statement in QuickBooks Online.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I recommend clearing the browser cache first. The cache is in place to collect frequently used data to make loading web pages quicker and easier. If it becomes too full it can potentially cause certain viewing and performance errors within the system. Clearing the cache will remove anything that's preventing the statement page from load properly. Here's how to get this done if you're using Chrome for example:

1. At the top right, click More (three vertical dots).
2. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
3. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
4. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files."
5. Click Clear data.

The following article provides similar steps for other browsers: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online

Please give these steps a try and then head back over to the statement page to see how things look. I'm only a comment or post away if you have any other questions.

I've reproduced the error in a private browser, which has no native cookies or cache.

It can be reproduced by setting a future date on any customer statement and then using the print preview.

The problem persists and is not related to an invalid cookie or cache.

Thanks for giving that a try and getting back to me with the results, theotillotson.

Since the issue with the statements is persisting, I recommend reaching out to a member of the QuickBooks Online Support Team. Agents have specialized tools, like the ability to share your screen, to take a closer look at what's causing this problem to occur. Here's how to get in touch with the team:

1. Click the Help (?) button.
2. Select either tab to get started:
  - Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
  - Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
    a. Start a chat with a support expert.
    b. Get a callback from the next available expert.
