Good evening, @DAObermeyer.
Thanks for dropping by the QuickBooks Community. How are you doing today? I hope all is well.
Intuit expects the most-used pages in QuickBooks Online to load in 10 seconds, and our Engineering Team continually monitor our systems to ensure they are meeting this goal.
While QuickBooks Online is a web-based service, it also relies on your computer or device’s processing power, the amount of available memory (RAM), and the bandwidth of your Internet connection to perform as intended. A shortfall in any area can reduce performance.
You'll want to ensure you're using the most up to date supported web browser while using QuickBooks Online. Here's a list of support web browsers:
- Google Chrome: version 78 or newer
- Mozilla Firefox: version 76 or newer. Note: To preview and print forms on Mac OS, you'll also need the Firefox PDF plugin.
- Microsoft Edge: version 79 or newer
- Safari: version 12 or newer (Mac only)
- Opera: version 68 or newer
- Samsung: version 10 or newer
You'll want to ensure you have all the correct firewall permissions set to allow QuickBooks. I suggest contacting our Intuit Developer team, they have the expertise to guide you and can provide you with a list of specific port numbers or IP addresses that you can add to your PC's firewall settings.
- Go to our Intuit Developers support page.
- Choose General Questions.
- Select Ask a Question, then tap Sign in or Create Account if prompted.
- Type your concern in the box, then click Post a question.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Take care!
