Quickbooks says I need to register again after transferring files to a new computer but won't let me
I transferred my 2019 Quickbooks for Mac software and files to a new computer but now I get messages that say I can only use the software seven more times before registering. 1) It ought to already be registered! I've used this software for many years. 2) It won't let me "register" without speaking to an agent, says that my information doesn't match what is on file. But this cannot possibly be true. I have not moved or changed my phone number. 3) I also have had this same problem in the past (the last time I got a new laptop) and I have a vague recollection that this was a trick to force me to have to upgrade last time when the newest update offered nothing I needed. Any clues on what I can do without THAT happening again?
