Quickbooks Shipping Manager Address not valid

Hello,

We are recently switching to Quickbooks Shipping manager for UPS. We have been using ShipGear with UPS Worldship without any problems. Today, we tried to ship using it to a customer and it said " ........is not a valid city/state/zip or the street name was not found". We were able to ship to this address using UPS Worldship with no problem before and again today. We verified the address with the customer and on USPS that it is in fact a valid address and correct zip code. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

I'm here to help you rectify the issue that you encounter with the QuickBooks Shipping manager, @DFMachine

As an initial step, I recommend upgrading or updating your QuickBooks Desktop to avoid errors while using Shipping Manager.

For your guide, you can open this link: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. Then proceed to the following steps:

  1. Close QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Rename the following Shipping Manager folders to ShippingManagerOLD to delete the old database file.
    Location:
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intuit\ShippingManager
    • C:\Users\[WindowsUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Intuit\ShippingManager
  3. Repair the QuickBooks installation.
  4. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
  5. Go to File > Shipping > [Courier] Shipping Options > Settings.
  6. Re-enter your shipping account information. Shipping Manager should now work as expected.
