QuickBooks Time and QuickBooks Desktop syncronization

Hi all,

 

We would like to add a field to QB Time that would feed back to QB Desktop which would replace the Notes field.  The new field would have a dropdown list of activities and would negate the need for the person to type the detail of what they did in Notes.  I believe I either need to define the field first in QB Desktop (which I tried, but failed), or add the dropdown options to the Notes field in QB Time (which I tried, but failed).  

 

Can anyone help me to do either of those 2 options, or suggest another solution?

Thanks for providing details of the steps you've performed. Currently, the option to add a new field that contains dropdown lists in QuickBooks Time (QB Time) to replace Notes in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) is unavailable. 

 

We'd love to hear more of your insights regarding this so I recommend sending feedback to our product developers. This way, they can further review this specific part of the program and consider adding your desired feature in future updates.

 

You can also look for a third-party application that can help you add the feature you need. To do so, simply go to our QuickBooks Apps store. 

 

On the other hand, you can reach out to our QB Time phone support team to provide another workaround you can use in modifying the fields.
