I have the information and the steps to help you undo your reconciliation, Bede.

In QuickBooks Online, you can only unreconcile one transaction at a time. If you really need to undo a previously reconciled period, I recommend reaching out to your accountant. Using QuickBooks Online Accountant, they can undo the entire period at once.

To invite your accountant:

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the upper-right corner, then Manage Users.
  2. Click Accountants, then hit the Accounting Firms tab
  3. Enter your accountant’s email address, then select Invite.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Once done, let your accountant undo the entire reconciliation.

On the other hand, you can follow these instructions to undo reconciled transactions one at a time. Like this:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu. Then select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the account and select View register.
  3. Filter the register to only include transactions from the last 60 days to help you focus on this task.
  4. Review the check column. If the transaction is reconciled, you’ll see an “R.”
  5. In the checkmark ✔ column, keep clicking it until it's blank. It removes the transaction from the reconciliation.
  6. Select Save.
