Hello, how do I make a journal entry showing the following 

accounts receivable

revenue 

contractual adjustment

payment

 

here is a sample of the amounts showing 

AR 10,630.75

revenue 3,875

Contractual adjustment 1773

payments 5293

Based on the numbers provided, a journal entry can't be created because the revenue, contract adjustments, and payments don't equal A/R.  Even if they did, payments generally reduce A/R, and contract adjustments generally increase or decrease revenue.  Can you provide a more detailed description of the process?
