Recurring Invoices and the Switch Coming December 11

When the new invoicing functionality rolls out in December, I understand that we will no longer be able to use the "old" templates. What about recurring invoices a business already has created? Will those need to be re-created using the new template, or will they be unaffected?

Thanks for reaching out to us, @BPen. I'm here to share information about the new invoice and estimate layout in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

A new estimate and invoice layout is now available for QBO, which aims to facilitate job acquisition, streamline workflow, and expedite payment processing. Once the update is released, you can readily utilize the new experience without any further action needed. Past invoices and estimates, including the recurring ones, will be converted to the new layout when we fully roll out the updates, and you don't need to recreate them.

 

Furthermore, you can customize your sales forms, so they'd look pleasing when sending them to your customers. You'll also get to decide which information to include when emailing invoices.
