I'm here to ensure that the issue you're facing while working on your recurring transaction will be resolved, @THEFLAME. Let's work on this together.

Please know that once you create one, they will be using the old layout experience since they're not affected by recent user interface updates made by our engineer.

Furthermore, if you create a recurring transaction using the new invoice template, you can still do it by going to the Scheduling dropdown. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to + New, then select Invoices.
  2. Click the Scheduling dropdown.
  3. Select the Recurring invoice.
  4. You'll be routed to the Recurring Invoice page, and from there, add the important details.
  5. Once done, hit the Save template.

If you're still unable to create and save one, let's troubleshoot this to help resolve the issue. Sometimes, our browser will encounter some unexpected concerns when working with our system. To isolate this, I'd recommend logging in to your account using an incognito mode.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Shift + Command + N

If this works correctly, you can clear your browser's cache to help fix issues and run the program optimally. Additionally, you can use other supported browsers to ensure everything works as expected.

Additionally, you can also check this article if you want to collect customer-based payments monthly: Set up a recurring sales receipt in QuickBooks Online.

If you're still having this issue, don't hesitate to get back to us by replying to this post or by tagging me. I'll ensure to look into this matter.
