I would like to run a report showing how much I paid our plumber for one particular job. How would I do that using QBO Plus? Thank you.

Let me guide you through creating a report in QuickBooks to see how much you paid for a specific plumbing job, JulieAnnJo.

To see the amount you have paid to your plumber, you can run the Project Profitability report and apply a filter. This will show all your income and expenses for a specific project. Let me guide you on how:

  1. Select the Projects menu.
  2. Choose the project associated with the job and the vendor.
  3. Once opened, go to the Project Reports tab.
  4. From there, select Project Profitability.
  5. Click the Customize button and set the correct date range.
  6. Then, go to the Filters menu check the box for Customer, and select the job name. Tick the box for Vendor and choose the vendor's name. You can also select multiple names.
  7. Click Run Report.
