Why did quickbooks remove the Review and Send option on Estimates we've already sent. Now when a customer wants to make changes, add and subtract items from the estimate. we cant do that unless we accept the estimate. Making it look like the job has been approved and still needs to be reviewed for final approval.

I appreciate your input on the Review and Send option for sent estimates in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @AS104. I'll help you process a feature request and have it sent to our Product Development Team.

 

Since the button you want to use is no longer accessible for the estimates you've already sent to your customers, I recommend sending feedback to our Product Development Team. This way, they can evaluate the suggestion and consider it for future updates. Here's how:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, click the + New button and select Estimates.
  3. Beside Take tour, click Feedback and enter a brief description about the option you're trying to use.
  4. Once done, select the Submit feedback button.

 

In the meantime, if you decide to modify the estimate and resend it to your customer. This way, they get the updated version of the transaction. These are the steps:

 

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, click the Sales tab and select Estimates.
  3. Locate the customer estimate and then click the Dropdown Arrow below the Action.
  4. Select Send. You can review the transaction before resending them.
  5. When you're ready, click the Send button.
