Good day, I am fairly new to the QuickBooks systems and wanted a way in which I have set rates for invoices.  I.e.  We sell diesel and I want a way to lock in price rates for specific stock code ( which we use for our suppliers) they each get an individual invoicing rate.

I wanted to know if this is possible and if so how to go about it ?

Don't sweat it, @Moitobi001. Setting default rates for items only takes a few steps.

You just need to enter the rate on the product information. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Lists menu and then Item List.
  2. To create a new item, select Item, then New. If you want to modify an existing one, double-click it to open the Edit Item window.
  3. Fill out the item fields.
  4. Under Sales Information, enter the sales price.
  5. Select OK.

For your reference, check out the following article. This includes answers to frequently asked questions about handling items: Add, Edit, and Delete Items.
