the shopify integration used to place e-commerce orders in Transactions instead of a separate place which made it very hard to do bookkeeping. I was wondering if that has been changed? The company has an online shopify store and an in person store and I am wanting those to be seperate. Is that a thing?

Let me share information about integrating Shopify transactions in QuickBooks Online.

In QuickBooks Online, all transaction will be classified as a sales transaction. However, you can manually categorize them as online or in-store sale.
