Question

Since the change over, my husband is unable to print from the mobile app. WHY!! We just got a thermal printer and it was working so well. This update is garbage!

The only work around we have found is logging through a browser which adds way too many steps to make it efficient.  Why do updates always mess with what was working well.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community, @mastrkleen.

Currently, the option to print transactions directly in the new invoice/estimate layout in the QBO mobile app is unavailable. To print, you will need to preview the form first, which will open it in your phone's built-in PDF reader. Once the form is open, you can then proceed to print it.

I understand the importance of printing from the mobile app in QuickBooks Online (QBO). For now, I suggest sending feedback about it. Your feedback will help us improve your QBO experience and will be shared with our Product Development Team.

Here's how:

  1. At the upper right corner, click the Gear icon.
  2. Under the Profile, select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Then, select Next to submit a feedback.

For more details about the feedback process, you can check this article: Submit Feedback.

For future reference, you can check this article to personalize your template:  Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to click Reply if you have further concerns about printing or other QBO-related questions. I'll be willing to assist you.
