Snap Receipt on Android freezing on Uploading Receipt

Is anyone having issues with Snap Receipt on the Android App? It's been working fine on my droid until yesterday (been about 2 weeks since I last used it) and now it gets stuck on Uploading documents. I've restarted, reinstalled, cleaned files/etc. to increase available memory, WI-FI, cell data and no change. I tried it on an iphone and it worked fine. All my other apps on the droid work fine. Only thing I can see that is different is that there is now an option to sequence multiples.

I truly appreciate the hard work you put in to upload the receipts and resolve the issue. I want to help you get back on track, so let me connect you with our support team who can investigate why this is happening and find a permanent solution. 

 

We'll have to perform in-depth troubleshooting steps to know why receipts are stuck during the upload process. Since it requires us to access your account, I recommend contacting our QBO Care Team for further assistance. Follow the steps below to obtain the support details:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks Online (QBO) and head to the Help icon in the upper right to display the support window.
  2. Go to the Assistant tab and enter a brief description of your concern in the Type something bar like, receipts are stuck during the upload process.
  3. Press the Get help from a human link to see more options.
  4. In the How would you like to connect with us? section, choose Chat to initiate a conversation and Callback to speak with an agent.

 

Our support team is available from Monday-Friday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT and Saturday 6 AM 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM PT (Plus, Essentials, Simple Start). At the same time, Advanced users can reach out to them any time and any day.

 

Once the receipts are uploaded to QBO, it's important to review, edit, categorize, or match those to existing transactions first. This ensures a seamless reconciliation process. and prevents duplicates.

I am also experiencing the same issue. I have removed the app from my phone and reinstalled. I contacted the Help line and was instructed to manually download the receipts from Google Drive or Google Phone. We were told this needs go to the Development team and that we should log something through the feedback channel. There has to be a fix for the app on Android so that I can do this from my phone and not have to log into a computer when I need to upload a receipt. This was one of the reasons I signed up for Quickbooks because of the ease of uploading receipts.

Please know that this isn't the experience we'd want you to have when using QuickBooks Online (QBO). We've checked here on our system and found an ongoing investigation about having problems with the snap feature. Our Product Development Team is aware of this and is already working on a fix. We recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so they can add you to the list of affected users, and you'll receive an update once it's fixed. We'll input the steps below to get you going:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company user the web version.
  2. Click Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
  • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
  • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a callback from the next available expert.
