So far, I am deeply disappointed with QBO. Have many folks switched to a different bookkeeping program?

When switching from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), not all data and history will transfer seamlessly. While most of the financial data, such as transactions, accounts, and balances, can be transferred, there are certain limitations to keep in mind. Moreover, I understand that rebuilding the allocations to every employee is time-consuming for you. However, you can still switch back to QBDT. You can export and then convert your QBO data to QuickBooks Desktop. Just a heads up, things will look different after the process. Here’s how to start converting:

1. Login to your QuickBooks Online account and click the Gear Icon.
2. Choose Export Data and enter your reason why you're exporting your data. Then, click Continue.
3. Review your data from the export overview screen. Once ready, click Export to Excel.
4. In the Exporting from QuickBooks Online page, select Continue to Download.
5. Then, follow the rest of the on-screen instructions to complete the exporting process.

Nonetheless, I understand that when importing data from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), it's important to include account allocations.
