SOS - use with QBO for rental of bikes business

We are a start up and will be renting Bikes - approx 100 bikes. Each bike is serialized and we would like to track the movement of each bike to be able to measure profit by each bike. QBO personnel recommend SOS since there is seamless integration with QBO. From what we have gathered, we must set up each bike as a separate inventory item in QBO to interface with SOS. Does anyone have experience using SOS with QBO for a rental of equipment business and is there any way to track without setting up each bike as a separate inventory item number.

SOS is not suitable for your company's business. You should have a rental management app to integrate with QBO.

A total inventory, order management, and production solution are provided by SOS Inventory. Throughout every stage of the lifecycle, we have you covered in running raw resources into final products and keep track of work-in-progress.

Furthermore, you can sync serial numbers and batches with QuickBooks Online and track them there as well. You may receive, ship out of, and move stock between them to SOS. You can add custom fields to track your data, set customer-specific pricing and vendor-specific charges, and more. We are capable of handling practically any workflow.

I also recommend consulting your accountant if you need to treat your bikes as an asset or inventory.

Thank you for the reply. After reading your reply, we believe that SOS will not be suitable for a rental equipment business (which is what bike rentals are). If we were seeking regular tracking normal life cycle inventory, sounds like SOS would work great. Thanks again for your time.
