This is happening on QB Desktop 2023 on multiple Windows 10/11 pro edition PCs.

QuickBooks utilizes the .NET Framework to run its interface programs smoothly. In the event of any issues with the .NET Framework, the desktop program may not function properly. 

 

When you're ready, let's work together to resolve the error. Here's how:

 

  1. Close all open programs.
  2. Open the Windows Start menu and type Control Panel in the search field.
  3. Open Control Panel and head to Programs and Features.
  4. Choose Uninstall a Program. Please note that we're not uninstalling anything.
  5. Select Turn Windows features on or off and look for .NET Framework on the list.

 

Next, review the settings for both .NET Framework 4.5 (or later) and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. For detailed instructions, check out this article: Manually fix Microsoft .NET Framework errors. Head directly to the Check NET Framework 4.5 (or later) section and continue up to Check NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
