TechSoup Subscriber can I add another Company and still get our discount?

Hi There,

 

We are a small church that also has a preschool. We are one legal, non-profit entity.  We use QB-Online through TechSoup.  We would also like to use QBO for the preschool.  Because the Church and the Preschool are on different fiscal years, I assume we need to add a 2nd "Company" to our account. 

 

Is there a way to do that and still get the TechSoup discount for the Preschool and the Church?

 

How to I set that work?

As far as I know the special account is purely determined by TS himself. How many user licenses do you need? You may consider applying for a QB Desktop 2021 license from TS

I'll share information about getting a new QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription.

 

First of all, I agree with what Fiat Lux - Asia mentioned. Since you're using QBO through TechSoup and looking to get the same discount for the new subscription, I suggest contacting the TechSoup support team. They'll be able to address your concern regarding the discount and help you further.

We already have a QBO environment setup for the Church through TechSoup.  When I try to add the second company, for the PreSchool, in QBO it asks for a credit card, so its not using the same billing as company one. 

 

TS says we are entitled to one subscription, which we have and is active.  They are silent on the number of companies in the one subscription (environment).

 

I cant seem to figure how how to add the 2nd company without paying full price.
