Good day, @goldlyne. I appreciate your effort in learning to customize an invoice template to include the exchange rate from Dollars to Sterling. I'll share some information about printing this specific currency conversion using the new style template you've set as default.

Including the exchange rate when printing an invoice is currently unavailable. I understand that this feature might be helpful in some cases. However, it's only visible when making the sales transaction, as this is for internal use. 

As a workaround, you can utilize the Message box fields below the columns for your item's information. Any text entered on the first one will show up on the invoice, while the statement will show up as the description.
