hello all,please ineed help with the next

QuickBooks keeps telling me I need to change the Admin Password, which is fine however it WON'T let me!!  (i didn't make any password before put in a new password I keep getting a message saying "The old password you entered does not match your existing password"

You can access your CAMPS as the Primary Contact and reset your file Admin password. 

 

Alternatively, you can utilize the Automated Password Reset Tool, which will help you reset your QuickBooks Admin password, granting you access to your company file.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Download the Automated password reset tool for QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Fill in the QuickBooks license number and business info used when you registered QuickBooks, then select Next.
  3. Accept the license agreement. The Automated Password Reset tool will auto-download. (If the auto download didn't work, select Download now).
  4. Run the tool and enter the token number received via email.
  5. Follow the succeeding steps on how to create a new password.
