How do you set up Time Entries to allow the manual entry of time opposed to using the Time Clock?

Welcome to the Community space, @CFM_.

Setting up Time Entries for manual input in QuickBooks Time is a breeze. I'll be happy to guide you through the process step by step.

Firstly, please note that only administrators can modify the Time Entry settings to allow employee changes, as they, along with managers, hold the authority to adjust team member permissions. Managers can only adjust permissions for their designated groups, while general access to managing timesheets lets users view, edit, or delete timesheets for all team members.

You can refer to this article to understand team member settings and permissions in QuickBooks Time: Manage team member settings and permissions in QuickBooks Time.

Moreover, if you're the administrator you can navigate to Company Settings, click on Time Options, and select Time Entry. Make sure to tick the option Allow team members to manage their timesheets, which enables employees to manually input hours for tasks.

In addition, I'm adding this article to help you learn how to approve, unapprove, or reject timesheets for QuickBooks Time and QuickBooks Online: Approve, unapprove, and reject timesheets for QuickBooks Time.

You can always post your reply here in the Community if you have additional questions regarding managing your time entries in QuickBooks Time. Take care!
