Trapped in Dark Mode for months.

I was trying out the Beta Labs Dark mode a while back. It was pretty bad. I tried to switch back but the Labs are gone now, so I've been stuck in this half-arsed 'dark mode' for a too long now. With some of the recent updates that do not support the old dark mode, I am seeing (or missing seeing) a lot of white text on white backgrounds. I have to highlight all the text on a page with my mouse to see if there are any options I am missing. 

 

How can I get out of Dark Mode?!

Being unable to turn off the Dark Mode feature in QuickBooks Online is understandably frustrating, Jason. 

 

It's not the experience we want you to encounter within the program. I'm here to provide you with more information on this matter.

 

The removal of the Beta Labs access points from the Gear icon in the program means that the option to return to the original interface from the dark background user interface is no longer available. However, if you would like this feature accessible again within the program, you can send feedback to our Product Development Team. This way, they'll receive your feature suggestion and consider adding it back in future program updates. I'll write down the steps to get you going:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Feedback.
  2. Provide your product suggestion.
  3. Click on Next to submit feedback.
