When you first sign up for QuickBooks, you enter an email address. This becomes your Intuit Account user ID. Use it whenever you sign up for Intuit products, so everything stays organized. With this, you'll need sign to in to your Intuit account to continue adding a new user. 

In this case, I recommend we sign in to your Intuit account to enable us to add users to your company file. However, if you have previously signed up for an Intuit product but were not prompted to create an Intuit Account, follow these steps: 

1. Go to the Intuit accounts page.
2. Select Create an account.
3. Enter your email address and phone number.
4. Create a password.
5. Once done, click Create account.

Afterward, we'll send you a link with instructions to verify your email address. Then, we can begin setting up users for your company file.
