I'm here to assist you by providing some workarounds and details about the editing issue with your vendor, mbullins08.

Before doing so did you encounter any error message when trying to save to vendor's information? That way, I can provide some solution to the error message.

Also, if the steps you have performed to edit vendor information are within the Expenses menu and Vendor page, and yet the changes do not save, I recommend following an alternative workaround. Let's navigate to the Contractors menu and update the information from there.

Here's how:

  1. To add the contractor's details (name, address, etc), click the blue ADD next to Personal Details.
  2. To add or edit the bank information, DO NOT CLICK the Add Manually, click the blue ADD next to Bank Account instead.
  3. If you need to email your contractor so they can enter it themselves, click the blue Send Email.

If the steps don't work, we can perform some basic troubleshooting steps to better isolate this. Let's use an incognito or private browser. Below are the keyboard shortcuts that you can refer to:

  • Google Chrome, press CTRL + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once you're able to edit the vendor information, I suggest going back to your regular browser and clearing the cache. This is to refresh your browser and delete the files that are affecting the product performance. Using other supported browsers can be a good alternative, too.

On the other hand, I'll be sharing these resources that will guide you in making corrections for your 1099s after you e-filed them in QuickBooks:

Feel free to let me know if you have any other concerns when editing vendor information or anything else. I am always delighted to lend a hand. Take care and stay safe.
