Trying to do a General Journal Entry but when I click on +New, it does not show Journal Entry as a choice. What can I do?

The user view is likely set to Business View, which is why you're not seeing the option to create a journal entry in QuickBooks Online (QBO), wilno1019. Let's switch it to Accountant View so you can continue creating your journal entry.

Here's how: 

1. Go to the Gear icon at the top right.
2. Choose Switch from Business view to Accountant view at the bottom.

If the journal entry option is still missing from the + New button, try logging into your QBO account using a private browser (incognito mode). Sometimes, browsers can become cluttered with frequently accessed pages, which may cause unusual responses.

• Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
• Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox or Internet Explorer).
• Control + Option + P (Safari).

If it works in incognito mode, go back to your default browser and clear its cache. Occasionally, the cache can become overwhelmed with outdated data, leading to viewing and performance issues.
