Trying to view a deleted transaction on my audit log, but when I click view it won't load, just keeps thinking. How am I able to get the check to populate so I can view it. I can find it on the audit log, and view is blue so I can click on it but then it just keeps giving me the circle of death.  Any help would be great!  Thanks!

We're delighted to have you here today, @jennann97.

Upon checking here on our system, we have an ongoing investigation about deleted transactions not accessible through the Audit log. Our Engineers are aware of it and are working on a possible fix. We'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team so they can get your details and add you to the list of affected users. This way, once an update is available, you'll receive a notification about it and proceed to troubleshoot your concern.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
  • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
  • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
  • Start a chat with a support expert.
  • Get a callback from the next available expert.

Thank you for the email.  I cleared all my caches, tried to look at it in a new private window and also looked on my phone and it still would not come up.  It just keeps thinking and won't pop up the actual transaction.

I understand that despite clearing your caches, trying to view it in a new private window, and even checking on your phone, the transaction you're trying to access is not appearing, @jennann97.

Allow me to provide clarity and insights on how to proceed.

I've checked our system and confirmed an investigation about the inability to view deleted transactions in the Audit Log. Rest assured, our dedicated product engineers are diligently working to address these concerns immediately.

That said, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks support team to include you in the list of affected users. It will help our engineers assess the scope of the issue and keep you informed via email updates once it's resolved.

Here's how to reach them:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Choose Help (?).
  3. Select either tab to get started:
  • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
  • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
