I am in the business overview, then I go to the bank account in question and Click View Register. I also get the same message when I go to chart of accounts and try to view the register there. Everything is downloading properly from the bank as far as transactions go.

Thanks for laying out the details of your concern as well as the steps you've taken, nspica.

Beforehand, may I know what's the name of your financial institution? So I can review any related issues with your bank on my end.

To sort this out, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a browser-related issue. Let's begin with accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via incognito mode. This does not store cache files that may cause odd behaviors when running web-based programs. Below are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

Once you're in the incognito mode, view the Bank register again and check if you still encounter the error.

If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to eliminate piled-up data. Otherwise, using other supported browsers can be a good alternative too.

Additionally, you can check out this article to learn more about how to effectively manage your income, expenses, and any possible errors accordingly: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks.

If you have any other concerns about accessing your bank register in QBO, please post again here. I'm always here to help. Have a good one!
