Unable to open Quickbooks application

After a routine Microsoft system update, my QuickBooks will not open, and even my other intuit products will not open.  Thoughts?

    Which QBD edition and version do you have? e.g Premier 2019

    Which Windows OS do you have?

    QuickBooks pro 2018 and windows 10

    Thank you for trying the steps provided by my colleague above to resolve the issue you're having. Since you're getting the same problem, I encourage uninstalling QuickBooks and do the clean install. This process won’t affect your accounting data since your company file and everything it holds isn’t involved at all.     Hello @jonathanw80,

     

    Let's run QuickBooks as Administrator so you can relaunch the software. To do so, right-click on the QuickBooks icon on your Desktop, then select Run as Administrator.

     

    But if it doesn't work, you can repair QuickBooks to update the installation permissions so you can open the software.

    1. Go to Start.
    2. Select Control Panel.
    3. Under Programs and Features, select Uninstall a Program.
    4. Click QuickBooks, and select Uninstall/Change.
    5. Select Repair.
    6. Click Finish.

    When I attempt to 'run as adminstrator' the application will not open for me.  I've also tried the repair approach and it was unsuccessful as well.  It processed the repair and told me it was successful but once complete I still could not open the application.  Thoughts?  Thanks for your help!

    When I click on the QB icon  it just circles.  I am unable to even get to open a company

    I got a new PC and I installed the 2019 version but it will not open, keep getting the error message attached. Tried repairing it, uninstall, install again, etc. pulling my hair out...help!

     

    I was able to install an older version (2016) and it works fine but all my files are newer and cannot open them on this version...

    Help has arrived, @mmiguel.


    You can run Quick Fix my Program from the QuickBooks tools so you can access your QuickBooks Desktop account. This tool is designed to fix issues when you can't open your program. Before that, you’ll want to download and install the QuickBooks Tool Hub.


    Here’s how:

     

    1. Close your QuickBooks account.
    2. Download the most recent version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub, then save the file somewhere you can easily spot it.
    3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
    4. Pay heed to the onscreen prompts to install, then agree to the terms and conditions.
    5. When the installation completes, click the icon on the Windows desktop to open the tool hub.


    Then, performs the steps below to repair your QuickBooks.

     

    1. In the QuickBooks Tools Hub, select Program Problems.
    2. Click Quick Fix my Program.
    3. Try to open your QuickBooks.


    You can also utilize the QuickBooks Program Diagnostic Tool if the issue persists. It can only take up to 20 minutes to run. Once done, restart your computer, then open your data file.

    Tried all these suggestions multiple times, still cannot open 2019 Quickbooks and get the same error message:

     

    Windows cannot find the program...
