Unable to see W-2 in Workforce because I have an admin account

I have an admin account but I am an employee of the company, which is why they send us our W-2 forms to our emails. I tried logging into Workforce with my account to see the W-2 that Quickbooks sent to my email, however, I get this message:

Looks like you don't have a Workforce employee accountThe email you entered belongs to an admin account. Only employees can access their Workforce accounts.

How can this be fixed?

I'm here to ensure you can access your W2 forms in Workforce, @orlandogmz.

It seems that you have a QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in which you are the admin. If that's the case, you’ll need to use a different email address for your QuickBooks Workforce account. Then, make sure to give that email address to your employer before signing into Workforce.

Once done, have your employer resend an invite to view your W-2 forms and paystubs. If you don’t see the invite, check your spam folder, or let your employer know about it. It’s possible they used an incorrect email. Check out this article for more information about the process: Set up your QuickBooks Workforce account.

Furthermore, refer to this article to see different information on how you can view your paychecks, W-2s, and other employment info such as your home address and bank account info through QuickBooks Workforce: View your paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce.

Keep me posted if you have follow-up questions about viewing your W2s in QuickBooks Workforce. I'd be happy to offer further assistance.
