Unexpected Tax Line found. Unable to save transaction.

 

MY CILENT CANNOT INVOICE DUE TO THIS ERROR. HE ALSO CANNOT ISSUE CREDIT MEMOS. 

 

This error has been around since 6/4/24. There was a workaround - opening incognito browser and doing it from there. I have had two calls to qbo help - Friday and yesterday - Monday July 15.  Help???

    Hello there, @ember541. I appreciate the effort you've made so far. Let me update you about the error message you've received when creating invoices in QuickBooks.

     

    Currently, we've received similar cases about the issue stated above. Please know that our engineer is currently working on it. We appreciate your patience as we investigate this further.

     

    For now, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team again so that they can add you to the list of affected users. This way, you'll get notified once there's a fix or an update about this issue.

    • This is not helpful. The engineer has been on it since Friday. My client cannot function without being able to send out his invoices. I don’t need “helpful” links on how to invoice or use credit memos. Please get help on this matter.
