Update PDF revision

One of my customers is rejecting my invoices because the PDF is an older rev. How can I update the PDF rev that QB's uses for invoices?

QuickBook Tool Hub isn't available on QuickBooks Desktop for MAC, however, we can update your software so you will have the latest features and fixes. You can refer to this article for detailed steps: Update QuickBooks for Mac to the latest release.

Hi, Guypwill1. Let me help you fix this concern.

 

You need to download and install the QuickBooks Tool hub to help fix common issues specifically, with the PDF getting rejected when being sent to your customer. Please refer to this article for detailed guidance on opening the tool: Fix common problems and errors with the QuickBooks Desktop Tool Hub.

 

After opening the QuickBooks Tool hub, you'll need to run the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool, here's how:

 

  1. Select Program Problems.
  2. Click QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool. Please wait as it will take a minute to run.
  3. Then, email the invoice PDF from QuickBooks Desktop again.

Once the invoice PDF is sent successfully to your customer, you can now set up automated payment reminders for invoices for invoices in QBDT.
