Using invoices

I used to paste in the descriptions, and as of very recently QuickBooks no longer let’s me paste into descriptions of invoices

 

what could be the problem?

Let's resolve the problem you're having when adding a description in your invoices, @Shedshaker. 

 

You can try to copy the description into a separate text editor before pasting them into QuickBooks Online (QBO) when creating an invoice. This may help to remove any formatting or other issues that could be causing the problem. 

 

If the problem persists, I suggest clearing your browser's cache. A regular browser's cache stores temporary internet files from your browsing history. However, as it collects too many files, this may cause performance issues in your account.

 

Here are the following keyboard shortcuts: 

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

From here, you can now create invoices in QuickBooks Online and record invoice payments manually.
