We are a non profit, I have money in checking set aside for bills we have not received as yet ... I want the board to see that money is not available?

Are you trying to let the board see that the money is only available for bills not yet received?

And when you say the money is not available, are you referring to the money not yet recorded in QuickBooks and would like to categorize this for future bills?
