Question

We would like the report header to print on each page of the report. This is the top header where it says the Company name, Report Name and Dates. Is this possible?

Hello there, Kelleherk.

As of now, the top header will only show on the first page.

Hi sbcoachingllc!

Good news! The feature to include the report header on each page has been added already. Let me show you how to use it:

  1. Go to the Reports tab and pull up a report you need.
  2. Click the Print icon.
  3. On the Print, email, or save as PDF pop-up, make sure to check the Repeat page header box.
  4. Select Print.

Wow.  I guess QB Online isn't like Desktop.  Seems pretty bad as you can't tell what company a page of a report is from.  I suppose that is why QB Desktop has printed the company information at the top of each report page since the last century.

This must have been updated as some of our reports are now printing the full header on all pages of a report.  How can I make this happen on all reports?

You'll need to check the Repeat page header checkbox to ensure the header appears on all report pages, Shari. Let me explain the further.

The Repeat page header option is available in both Standard and Custom reports. Although there isn't a universal setting to apply it to all reports, once you enable this option, the system automatically recognizes it and pre-fills the selection the next time you print or save a report. I'll add an image for visual reference.
