The message "We’re sorry! You don't have access rights to view this data." is caused by a user trying to do something they don't have access rights to do. When this occurs, you can have a user with permissions to manage user profiles grant you the permission you need to do what you're trying to do.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. Sign in as a primary admin.
  2. Use your Gear icon, then go to Manage users.
  3. Locate a user you want to edit.
  4. Click the Edit option in your Action column.
  5. You can change a user role from the Roles drop-down list. Time tracking roles can't be edited. Instead, you can delete them, then recreate them with their correct role.
  6. Choose which account management settings you'd like to manage.
  7. Select Save.

 

Any updated permissions for a user profile won't take affect until they sign out and back in to QuickBooks.
