But as as QuickBooks Proadvisor we already paid a ton of money to renew out membership. What happens to all the money we have paid?

@alcompco

I don't believe they will release QB Desktop 2025. You can check the following confirmation.

I have nothing to support my opinion but I think this is part of Intuit's plan to discontinue Enterprise Desktop at some point and transition users to Intuit Enterprise Suite that was released in September.  It seems to make sense with no 2025 Enterprise Desktop release scheduled and Intuit's aggressive discontinuation of desktop products.  While that may not be for some time, I'm betting it will happen.  Enterprise Suite doesn't appear to be able to handle the advanced inventory functions that Enterprise Desktop can, so I'm not sure if users of Enterprise Suite will need a 3rd-party app for inventory or whether Intuit will build it in eventually or offer it as an add-on or ???

I totally agree with what you say and this is when the online version is by far inferior to the desktop versions of the QuickBooks. Intuit has become too full of itself, the same way BlackBerry and a number of other companies were full of themselves and they became obsolete and extinct!

It is a shame that Intuit has decided to end the Desktop versions of QB.  I have been using QBs since the first DOS version.  I cannot use the language I need to use in reviewing the online versions so lets just leave it to say when my Desktop versions no longer work, I will do things by hand on a ledger sheet before I convert to the online version.  It is worse than terrible.  That's says it all.  I am a CPA and I have been doing accounting for the last 50 years.

It is a shame that Intuit has decided to end the Desktop versions of QB.

They haven't announced to discontinue QB Desktop completely. They are still supporting QB Desktop 2024 through 2027 and there is still a possibility that they will release QB Desktop 2027 next year.
