What is a good phone number to contact customer service?

A new user is unable to login as the message she receives says the user name already exists and she cannot remember her password.

Since you mentioned that the user cannot remember the password, if they still have access to their phone or email on file, they can still access their account. Please refer to the following steps below:

 

  1. Visit our sign-in page. 
  2. Enter the phone number or email address associated with the account.
  3. After you enter a phone number or email address, wait for the verification code.
  4. Enter the code and follow the next steps of the verification process. 
  5. If prompted to reset your password, you may change it or choose Skip.

We don't have a direct phone number for you to call, but you can contact our Customer Support Team here. 

 

You can also update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information. This will help you manage your account credentials.

  6. Enter your details.
  7. Select Get a call.
