What is going on? My customers have totally disappeared. QB has pulled all invoices into one sub-customer and my main customer is no longer in quickbooks. WTH

I understand how challenging it can be to deal with missing parent customer names and having invoices incorrectly reclassified under the sub-customer in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let’s take a few steps together to troubleshoot this issue and find a resolution.

To start, let's review the Audit Log report to see if any modifications have been made to client accounts. This records all account activity and can provide insights into recent adjustments. Here’s how to access it:

1. Select the Gear icon, then Audit log.
2. Choose a date range in the Date Change field, and set the Events dropdown to Lists.
   
3. Look for any alterations made, and click View to see more details

If the Audit Log shows no recent changes, I recommend using an incognito window in your browser to open the product with a clean slate. 


If the parent customer is visible and the invoices are properly classified under that customer, please return to your regular browser and clear the cache for a fresh start. Additionally, switching to other supported browsers could also be worth a shot. 

When your customer makes a payment, please record it properly to connect it to the invoice and balance your accounts. Also, regularly review and reconcile your accounts to match your financial statements.
